Q

Since you are from New Jersey, and Matt is from Rhode Island, who do you root for when the New York Yankees play the Red Sox?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

I don't really root for anyone. Watching sports doesn't interest me at all.

Q

Do you ever plan to tour in the UK?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

I hope so. Unfortunately, there's no way I can afford it unless someone over there wants to book a show and help me out with the travel expenses.

Q

What's your middle name?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

Ann.

Q

Which is easier: guitar or uke? And which do you prefer to play?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

I think uke is easier... it has less strings and they're nylon so they don't hurt as much as steel acoustic guitar strings. I prefer to play uke but a lot of my songs only sound good with guitar.

Q

Where did you learn to play the guitar? Could you give me a link?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

I just looked up the chords to a song I wanted to learn and figured out how to play them here: http://8notes.com/guitar_chord_chart/

Q

Will you be making it to NC, sometime this fall?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

Yep! Tour dates will be posted soon. :)

Q

When are you getting married?!

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

As soon as my parents stop pulling me in completely opposite directions and we're able to actually make decisions about the planning.

Q

What do you like more: cats or elephants?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

I LOVE cats. We have a stray cat friend who waits by our door and hangs out with us whenever we leave or come home and I wish we could keep her so badly. Unfortunately, we spend like six months of the year on tour so we can't have pets until we decide to stop.

Q

Do you have any advice for an aspiring wizard rocker/ musician?

Lauren Fairweather responded on 09/20/2010
A

Work hard, be yourself, and enjoy what you're doing. And definitely do it, if you're still thinking about starting. Best decision I ever made. :)
