Q

What would you charge to play a show? How could I go about finding a venue for a possible show in my area? Thanks for reading!

It depends where it is, when it is, and how much it costs us to get there. If it's during a tour when we're passing through your area, it would be easier and less expensive for us than having to fly across the country or something. It also depends how many bands are with us on tour at the time, because we'd have to split the money. If you contact us, we'll be able to figure out a more exact amount.

As far as how to find a venue, think about places around you that could potentially host a show (like libraries, independent bookstores, clubs, vfw halls, church basements, etc) and go to talk to the people who are in charge of them to find out if they're willing and available. Places that will host it for free are important too.

You might also want to talk to us about when we could get to your area if you're open to any date so you get a better idea of when we could make it happen. Matt books our tours and we travel together, so you should email thewhompingwillows@gmail.com about that.
